Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces. Core and chop the apples into chunks. Slice the onion thinly and pick the sage leaves.

Assemble the foil packs (5 minutes)
Lay out sheets of heavy-duty foil. Divide the sausages, apples, onions, and sage evenly between them. Fold the foil to create sealed packs.
Cook on the BBQ (35 minutes)
Place the foil packs on the BBQ over indirect heat set to 160°C (320°F). Cook for 30–35 minutes until the sausages are cooked through and apples tender.
Serve with grain mustard
Carefully open the foil packs and serve with a dollop of grain mustard alongside.
